Yesterday I received my 433MHz transmitter / receiver cards I bought via eBay. And today, I couldn’t resist buying a set of 3 remote controlled power sockets. After some Googling around I came across this. So I just connected the receiver to my Uno, fired up the IDE, uploaded the sketch and started pushing the buttons on the remote. The Arduino Serial Monitor showed different packets for different buttons. This shouldn’t be too difficult to control the lights at home…. So the next step is to add 433MHz support to my RaspberryPI via GPIO and control the lights from my phone over the internet.
