Dakkapelreiniging.NL is a company with a unique approach to dormer window cleaning. The company outgrew its Excel phase and needed a system to track all its marketing campaigns and order processing. Research revealed that there wasn’t an immediately available (affordable) package suitable for the marketing process (customer selection, mailings, etc.). Following research, Marlin (PCA Mobile) was recommended and implemented for the planning process. The rest was achieved with a custom solution in Kotlin, Spring Boot, and Angular. This custom solution, called ClearView, integrates asynchronously with Marlin. Orders are received via the website, routed to the planning system, and then issued on the field worker’s tablet. Status updates are processed asynchronously in ClearView, and overviews, exports, and invoices are generated (automatically or otherwise) and posted to SnelStart. Several franchisees are connected to this system, with their financial administration maintained in a separate environment from SnelStart. The client significantly reduces the number of hours previously required by the planning department and indicates that this combination of systems allows for greater focus on operations (as opposed to administration). The entire process runs in containers on Amazon EC2 instances and RDS databases.
